Hybridizer Quick Start Guide
PATHOLOGY
Installation of the Hybridizer
n Place the Hybridizer on a level surface suitable
for laboratory instrumentation.
n The Hybridizer has an intake fan located at the
bottom and an outlet fan at the rear; assure no
obstructions exist on intake and outlet.
Note: Avoid loose paper under the Hybridizer to
prevent obstruction.
n Position the Hybridizer away from direct sunlight
and sources of heat or cold.
n Verify voltage requirements located on serial
No. label, rear of instrument.
Connect Power and Turn on the Hybridizer
n Plug the Hybridizer into the appropriate outlet
supplying the voltage and frequency indicated on
the serial No. label.
n Move switch to “ON” position. The main power
switch is located on the rear panel (I = On,
O = Off).
n Instrument will beep on start-up and the
initialization screen will appear.
n The Main Menu will be displayed.
Please use the system as intended. Improper use of the Hybridizer may cause damage to the system,
inaccurate results, potentially nullify warranties, or cause personal injury.
